I have learned from my experiences that even though we might think that we are free from bias, there can be some sense of discomfort while dealing with sensitive topics such as the LGBTQ community. I used to think that for a socially aware person like me, it will be easy for me to avoid stigmas. However, I felt somewhat uncomfortable while attending a meeting consisting of transgender people.
